I am unable to get the wireless working with 7.10. 
my wireless card is detected in lspci, lshw:

howevever I am unable to connect to my wireless network nor to list the 
wireless networks:

$ sudo iwlist eth1 scan
 eth1      No scan results
}}}
And there is at least 10 wireless networks around this computer.
