Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org2

This bug bugs me for some time now.
I have all my documents on my small server that exports the documents via nfs
to all my
machines. It's possible to open/modify/create files from each machine, so the
permissions are perfectly fine.
The UID of my account is the same on server and the machines, which I confirmed
via ls -lna and a look in /etc/passwd

When I try to open an open office document it takes a really long time (no
matter how simple the document is) and
then it opens it as read-only. This worked before feisty IIRC and when I copy
the file to my homedirectory and open
it there, I'm having no dificulties to open/edit it.

I really don't know why OO thinks that the file os read-only, I can only
imagine that it tries to do some locking vodoo
or something like that which may fail. (Although this is the only program that
ever made trouble regarding files on this share)

Maybe it's related to:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/openoffice/+bug/41985

Is there something I can do to further debug it without reading tons of
sourcecode?
Any help is appreciated.

** Affects: openoffice.org2 (Ubuntu)
