Public bug reported:

Using Ubuntu 14.04 amd64 with Kernel's 3.13 and 3.14, DPM (Dynamic Power
Management) support is broken on my Radeon 8670D APU chip. What happens
is that when my PC boots, it shows the login screen for a second then
immediately reboots on its own, I do however have encryption enabled on
Ubuntu.

Manually disabling DPM support by adding "radeon.dpm=0" in
"/etc/default/grub" in the section "GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet
splash" fixes this problem, but I would like to have better power
management enabled for better performance of my chip.

Specs: MSI FM2-A75IA-E53 motherboard, 16GB DDR3 RAM, AMD A10-6700T APU.

The version of the driver 'radeon' is: 1:7.3.0-1ubuntu3.1
