Public bug reported: Image #76+ Hardware: any
If no SIM card is installed on a Touch device, it's not possible to make emergency calls. Note - this is a tricky bug to reproduce as to do it safely, requires a modified version of ofono which reports non-real-world emergency numbers. It would be a great idea to add a test hook to override the SIM emergency numbers for just this reason. ** Affects: ofono (Ubuntu) Importance: High Status: Triaged ** Changed in: ofono (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: ofono (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1329548 Title: Can't make an Emergency Call with missing SIM card To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ofono/+bug/1329548/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
