[Bug 1353578] Re: OSX/Android File Transfer partial support

2015-02-17 Thread Mathieu Trudel-Lapierre
This has been landed a while ago and has since made it to RTM and in the
images, so I'll close this fix released, and we can reopen if there are
other issues identified.

Have just retested with Krillin/RTM/32, and the problem no longer
occurs.

[Bug 1353578] Re: OSX/Android File Transfer partial support

2014-09-12 Thread Víctor R . Ruiz
Retesting with krillin/rtm/32, and still seeing some problems.

- AFT displays the device's file tree, only if the device is unlocked, which is
a bit annoying. This seems to be a feature, though.
- Files can be copied from the device to OSX.
- I plugged the device to Ubuntu, and copied some files in Documents and
Videos. Then, replugged the device to OSX. Now it lets me copy files. So, files
CANNOT be copied to the device from OSX if there are no other files.

Where is the log file for mtp?

Sorry, last sentence should be say:

files. I plugged the device to Ubuntu, and copied some files in
Documents and Videos. Then, replugged the device to OSX. Now it lets me

[Bug 1353578] Re: OSX/Android File Transfer partial support

2014-09-08 Thread Mathieu Trudel-Lapierre
Could you please test this further, but with mtp debugging fully
enabled?

You can do this by doing the following:

1- edit /usr/share/upstart/sessions/mtp-server.conf
2- add env GLOG_v=4 below the existing env GOOGLE_LOGTOSTDERR line.
3- disconnect the device from USB
4- reconnect the device to USB

Thanks!
