I did three checks for you. Hope these files shed some light? I thought
it was a gallium driver as seen in glxinfo.txt.

Thanks for your interest in fixing the fglrx driver but I know it's too
early yet. Everything works using

Rodney

2014-08-09 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Rodney Navaratil, the default linux kernel driver for your card would be radeon
as verified by:
lspci -vvnn

Despite this, sending to fglrx-installer for review.

Re: [Bug 1354270] Re: [ASRock G31M-S] hibernate/resume failure [non-free: fglrx]

2014-08-08 Thread Rodney Navratil
I have been using Ubuntu since the first edition. I used Debian for 5
years before switching it Ubuntu. The Gallium driver was already
installed on the system. I decided the fglrx driver was not refined for
14.10. I thought the Gallium driver is Ubuntu default?

2014-08-08 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Rodney Navratil, just to clarify, how did you install the Gallium driver
precisely?

As well, did you try the drivers that come with Ubuntu by default?
