Same problem for me. My parents use pidgin, I use pidgin, and when I added their jabber adress in my account, I have twice their address (one disconnected, one connected), and they have twice the mine (one disconnected, one connected). When I removed the disconnected one, it was removed then reappeared. I have to remove-it again.
