[Bug 1399991] Re: Sometimes scroll appears to go in wrong direction

2019-09-05 Thread ALinuxUser
I suspect that this is a GTK bug. I will file it on the GTK bugtracker
(which is within the Gnome bug tracker, I think) if I get around to it.
The problem does still exist, at least on Mint.

We haven't heard from anyone on this bug in over four years. Is anyone
still tracking this issue? If so, please change the 'Status' of this bug
report to 'confirmed'. Thanks!

Please note that MINT bugs should now be reported to
https://github.com/linuxmint/linuxmint

[Bug 1399991] Re: Sometimes scroll appears to go in wrong direction

2015-08-01 Thread Nicholas Joll
I think that a more important but somewhat related matter is that, as
reported in various places on the Internet and as I have experienced
myself, some mouse scroll wheel are either much too fast or much too
slow on Mint - without any easy fix. In my case - with a Microsoft
Comfort Mouse 3000, which I got because it was especially good for
Windows (and better in fact than later versions of the same mouse) - not
even messing around with the program Xinput has provided a solution.
This is one of the two or three things that stops me putting Mint on my
main desktop computer.
