I don't personally need a backport, but that could perhaps be useful for LTS users, i don't know Ubuntu policy about that. Hmm...I've updated to 3.19.2 and the Touchpad seems does it work. But after a few seconds the left button doesn't work anymore...only after clicking the right button and then it works for a few time. Hi, I've a Fujitjsu E544 with ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad. Dennis, if you did modprobe psmouse, you didn't really fix the problem, you just force the kernel to load the generic driver instead. I've the same Laptop, an Fujitsu E554 and the same Problem(s). I'm on Ubuntu 12.04 AMD64. Till Kernel 3.8.0* the Tochpad works, but without the right Mousebutton.
