For which version of Ubuntu it's been released, please? New version of packages are added to the current Ubuntu development release, which at the moment is Ubuntu Vivid. If you would like a newer version in an older Ubuntu release, you may want to look into: Stable Release Upgrades [1] (though they are mainly for fixing critical issues with a known fix) Backports [2] for getting a newer version than what was available when the that release of Ubuntu was released.
