2015-03-04 Thread Hans Joachim Desserud
For which version of Ubuntu it's been released, please?

New version of packages are added to the current Ubuntu development
release, which at the moment is Ubuntu Vivid.

If you would like a newer version in an older Ubuntu release, you may want to
look into:
Stable Release Upgrades [1] (though they are mainly for fixing critical issues
with a known fix)
Backports [2] for getting a newer version than what was available when the that
release of Ubuntu was released.

[Bug 1403010] Re: Update Angband package: v3.3.2 is 3+ years old

2015-02-15 Thread Hans Joachim Desserud
As the bug watch update said a new version of angband has been uploaded
to Debian. angband 1:3.5.1-2 has been synced and is currently waiting in
Ubuntu Vivid Proposed, but it looks like it failed to build on ppc64el.

2014-12-21 Thread Hans Joachim Desserud
Thanks for reporting this issue.

I found an upstream bug report talking about packaging the latest
version in Debian, so I have attached a bug watch. Looks like there was
some work done on this, though unfortunately not recently.

** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #737249
