We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. This bug was reported some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time. Ubuntu 14.04 (trusty) reached end-of-life on April 25,2019 and Ubuntu 15.04 (vivid) reached end-of-life on February 4, 2016. Does anyone still see a problem related to the one that was reported when using a currently supported version of Ubuntu? I noticed the following error messages on the console when starting evince from the command line: (evince:14906): IBUS-WARNING **: Unable to connect to ibus: Could not connect: Permission denied (evince:14906): IBUS-WARNING **: Events queue growing too big, will start to drop. I can add more information to this. It is affecting me on a fresh Lubuntu 15.04 32-bit install as well. Evince version: 3.14.2 The pdf that is affected is here: http://media.wizards.com/2014/downloads/dnd/5E_CHARACTERSHEETSV3.ZIP It's from: https://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/character_sheets Unzip the file, and open DnD_5E_CharacterSheet - Form Fillable.pdf in Evince. In Lubuntu by default this is the default application to open it. Click in any field and enter some text. Short or long, doesn't matter. It will succeed. Press tab, enter, or click away from the field. Your mouse will still work in evince, but no keyboard input will. Keyboard works fine in any other application. The document in question was the IRS 1040 form. So after a bit more investigation it gets a little weird. I can repeat this on the machine it occurred. The first few fields I can fill, and then it will stop working.
