[Bug 1437878] Re: RFD: how to deal with recursive folders

2022-01-27 Thread Rolf Leggewie
http://ubuntu.uhost.hk/ apparently no longer exists. I will close this
ticket as obsolete.

I was thinking now that if ever this issue came up with another host,
wouldn't it be best to simply list two entries, for example
http://ubuntu.uhost.hk/ and http://ubuntu.uhost.hk/ubuntu/ or would that
create other issues?

** Changed in: apt-cacher-ng (Ubuntu)
   Status: New => Invalid

[Bug 1437878] Re: RFD: how to deal with recursive folders

2015-03-31 Thread Eduard Bloch
Uhm, not sure I want to deal with this very specific issue. I see two
options, either hardcode the extra URLs in the mirror list (with 1-2
extra levels). Or add some flag or global option meaning: "strip
duplicated path components named like xxx". Or maybe even 2.5 options,
i.e. make the last one more generic... rewrite the URLs with regular
expressions, the way user wants.

The last option needs a more sophisticated regex processer, maybe I
should have a look at PCRE.

Anyhow, not sure, this ideas need to settle down first.
