12.04 is the last release that will support non-PAE. The default (and boot) kernel for 12.04 32 bit is now the PAE kernel, so there is no easy way to install a non-PAE kernel. Installed OK with vmlinuz-3.19.0-10-generic kernel but wont upgrade to vmlinuz-3.19.0-11-generic. I did have to force pae to boot iso. Guess I need a new laptop, any donations ?
