Public bug reported: Hi!
I'm using Ubuntu 14.10 and I've got USB 3G modem Huawei E173. If I use upstart, when I connect this modem, it is automatically switched to modem-mode and I can connect to the network. But if I switch to systemd, it doesn't, but I'm able to switch it manually using command: sudo usb_modeswitch -v 0x12d1 -p 0x1446 -V 0x12d1 -P 0x1436 -M 55534243123456780000000000000011062000000100000000000000000000 I'm using kernel 3.19.3 64-bit from Ubuntu Kernel PPA: 3.19.3-031903-generic #201503261036 SMP Thu Mar 26 14:37:55 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux All system packages are up-to-date. ** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: 3g huawei modem modeswitch systemd udev usb -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1441901 Title: 3G modem mode switch doesn't work when using systemd To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1441901/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
