Hi, I haven't used Ubu for some time and now I am back and it seems I was wrong in that the bug was fixed. It just started showing up less for some time. I dug into the problem and it seems that USB ports are being suspended. I found that laptop-mode tools do this when one is on battery, but it happened to me when I has AC connected (sometimes, and sometimes not). This bug was fixed by some of the recent updates. Now my mouse and keyboard both work fine. I saw linux firmware package being updated - maybe this is what fixed it?
