Closing this as Invalid - at least it seems to be by design: with GNOME, gnome-shell is meant to listen and respond to the phase change (asking for confirmation). Without gnome-shell (or unity), you will be "logged out" if nothing intervenes.
I'm now using my own confirmation dialog (zenity), and then use `gnome- session-quit --logout --no-prompt`, which really ends the session then. ** Changed in: gnome-session (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: gnome-session (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1455304 Title: gnome-session-quit stopped working: phase changed after first call to QUERY_END_SESSION To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-session/+bug/1455304/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
