Public bug reported: If I boot normally, I can use my keyboard in GRUB to select boot options. If I then boot into Xubuntu (14.04.2), the keyboard and mouse are not responding (except in rare cases). I can not Ctrl-Alt-F1 to a console and can not use Ctrl-Alt-Del to reboot.
The only way I can boot into Linux is by disconnecting mouse and keyboard before turning on my pc, waiting for the lightdm login screen, plug in my keyboard and mouse. In this case everything always seems to work normally. I have just (26 May 2015) updated my bios to the most recent available version, A07 and all packages are up to date. The automatically generated files in this bug report are from a boot in which I unplugged mouse and keyboard first, so that I was able to login.
