I'm not at all sure on what the process is. My understanding is that once a version of ubuntu is released packages are typically not updated to new versions. Thanks, Klas. How can I initiate the process of getting the updated software packaged into 14.04 LTS? Hello, Updated software is available in the Yubico ppa (https://launchpad.net/~yubico/+archive/ubuntu/stable) or in a later ubuntu release.
