[Bug 1470033] Re: Pressing "Enter" on the "Reply to SMS" field of the SMS notification will clear the notification and erase the typed text, but the reply is not sent.
As of OTA13 (at least) this is no longer an issue. Pressing "Enter" in the SMS reply box from the notification area will add a newline, as expected. The SMS will not get sent until "Send" is pressed, also as expected. I suppose this has been fixed somewhere during the last year.
