Well, I can confirm the same behavior on x86_64 with hardy as well. Originally put up as a question on Ubuntu forums (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=4892471), I was directed here. Though I dont mean to be critical, but the overall situation about this bug looks strange. On Gnome, its marked as RESOLVED, and still we are facing it in latest gnome build in hardy. Confirming here. I just switched over from 32-bit to 64-bit, used XGL in both cases. This is the sole outstanding bug for 64-bit I've experienced since the change. I would have to agree. Also, more specifically it looks like an XGL + x64 bug as that is my setup and I see the same bug. That or perhaps it has something to do with the proprietary bundle of joy that is the ATI drivers...
