[Bug 1483631] Re: Can't install vivid LTS enablement pack on Ubuntu 14.04
If you use "sudo apt-get install libwayland-egl1-mesa-lts-vivid linux- generic-lts-vivid xserver-xorg-lts-vivid libgl1-mesa-glx-lts-vivid linux-image-generic-lts-vivid libgl1-mesa-glx-lts-vivid:i386" the upgrade path will be properly calculated. Given that the vivid HWE stack is no longer receiving updates and people will be recommended to upgrade to the xenial HWE stack, I'm going to set this to Won't Fix. ** Changed in: mesa-lts-vivid (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1483631 Title: Can't install vivid LTS enablement pack on Ubuntu 14.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mesa-lts-vivid/+bug/1483631/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1483631] Re: Can't install vivid LTS enablement pack on Ubuntu 14.04
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode. To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1483631/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.
