[Bug 150843] Re: Wacom stylus went dead after Gusty
looks like they got it right this time, besides Bug #188787. [Bug 150843] Re: Wacom stylus went dead after Gusty
This bug still happens on Ubuntu 8.04 (and it's a regression!!) -- Wacom stylus went dead after Gusty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150843 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 150843] Re: Wacom stylus went dead after Gusty
That's a valid bug. Users aren't supposed to manually edit system files. This is also a regression from Feisty, and not documented by Ubuntu (no mention of this in release notes). ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Confirmed -- Wacom stylus went dead after Gusty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150843 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 150843] Re: Wacom stylus went dead after Gusty
Uncommenting the final lines on the xorg.conf file (the ones that say uncomment if you have a wacom tablet) makes it work. -- Wacom stylus went dead after Gusty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150843 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 150843] Re: Wacom stylus went dead after Gusty
I was facing many problems after the upgrade, so I decided to make a clean install. It didn't help, the stylus still isn't detected by Ubuntu. -- Wacom stylus went dead after Gusty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150843 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 150843] Re: Wacom stylus went dead after Gusty
Gert, I had to make a dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg because after enabling my second screen, I wasn't able to start the system again. I have checked my xorg.conf, there are no commented parts. -- Wacom stylus went dead after Gusty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150843 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 150843] Re: Wacom stylus went dead after Gusty
Did you update your xorg.conf, too? Please check it, by default the wacom-parts are still written, but commented out. -- Wacom stylus went dead after Gusty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150843 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
