Well, with another user it seems the bookmark management is working. So your idea seems to be right. No, sorry, I can't reproduce the bug. Have you tried this with another user? If that works, try moving your .kde to another place and try again with your user. For the sake of completeness I've also run: sudo chmod -R enzo:enzo . In order to be sure to have the right ownership of home files. I have also tried to create a new bookmark folder for the bookmark bar. Konqueror refuses to create it as well as to create any bookmark. I've requested a reinstall of konqueror with no luck.
