The issue started with installing of the 15.10 iso, as downloaded from the Ubuntu servers, I believe it's a version of 4. 2. 0. kernel. The last update that had the same problem was 4.2.0-21-lowlatency. Now I have installed the latest kernel, 4.4.0. as you suggested, and the problem is solved, thank you. Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem? Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v4.4 kernel[0].
