 Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

   I moved to Debian/Squeeze: the reported bug is still present.

   command line:
 openRTSP -4 -p 3 -w 800 -h 600 -f 25 rtsp://.  test.mp4
   result:
   test.mp4: Apple QuickTime movie (unoptimized)

[Bug 152858] Re: -4 flag gives an Apple QuickTime file

2009-01-09 Thread Pierre Frenkiel
The symptom is exactly the same in 8.10
the openRTSP doc says:
 Use the -q option to output the received data to 'stdout' in the form
 of an Apple QuickTime '.mov'-format file.
 Similarly, the -4 option produces a '.mp4'-format (i.e., MPEG-4) file.
but
== openRTSP -4 -p 3 -w 800 -h 600 -f 25\
rtsp://mafreebox.freebox.fr/fbxtv_pub/stream?namespace=1service=204
test.mp4
gives:
==file test.mp4
   test.mp4: Apple QuickTime movie (unoptimized)
