Same here on a VM (VirtualBox 3.1.6 - Windows host) with Lucid and Firefox 3.6.3 I can access the share in .gvfs folder but can't see it in the folder view. on one machine I have Hardy - with FF 3.0.10. On this machine I have samba/windows shares visible in Places pane of FF File Open dialog. On a second machine - this was Hardy upgraded to Ibex upgraded to Jaunty with FF 3.0.10 - no shares visible in Places pane of FF File Open dialog. Hello. We are using firefox-2 on a large LTSP enterprise desktop roll- out and this bug is still there in Hardy.
