Well, I see you say it should be an error and not an exception.  I guess
I can protect against that some by doing a try/except, but it's really
not a supported way to run libertine-launch.

I guess if it becomes more of a problem, then we can revisit.

I noticed that you launched libertine-launch on the command line, which
is not supported, so I don't think this is a bug.

I think you tried to run it like: 
/usr/bin/python3 /usr/bin/libertine-launch wily ls

which is absolutely going to cause issues.

If you disagree, then we can discuss further:)
