Public bug reported: I installed Ubuntu on a PC with only wireless network available. No built-in driver was selected.
"Help and Support" under section "Using Windows Wireless Drivers" advised to install ndisgtk using "Synaptic Package Manager". This package is not available until after you have a connection to the internet repositories, which you won't have unless have this package installed. Solution would be to include the ndisgtk and related packages on the distro CD image. Any alternate solutions? ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- ndisgtk not available on Ubuntu 7.10 CD https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/154639 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
