Public bug reported:
A fresh install of 7.10 on an external HD corrupted the primary HD's
MBR.
The primary HD has XP. The installation of Ubuntu on the external HD
installed GRUB on the primary HD, so when the external HD is not
connected, GRUB does not load.
Also, when trying to boot into the 7.10 installation, GRUB says "Error
22: No such partition"
