The issue is still there in 18.04. Refer to plugin window for totem in attachment. This is an issue with the Peas gtk plugin manager. https://developer.gnome.org/libpeas/stable/PeasGtkPluginManager.html Nothing to do with rhythmbox. This issue is specific to ubuntu ( gtk css customization ), and it seems to have been fixed in subsequent releases.
