This problem affects me on Kubuntu 20.04 each & every time I resume from standby. Kubuntu 18.04. Nvidia propietary drivers 390.
The problem happens to me from time to time without doing anything specific.
I fix it by rebooting the computer or executing this command... I recover
the triple buffer, because when the fault appears I have tearing again.
