[Bug 1580313] Re: Plasma freezes on 16.04
Alex Limoges, to clarify, did this start happening after a kernel update? ** Description changed: Every once in a while, maybe 4-5 times a day at work, my fresh install of 16.04 Kubuntu freezes and I can't click on anything whatsoever. I need to reboot every time. The keyboard still works though, as I was able to start a new session. Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v4.6 kernel[0]. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'. If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'. Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed". Thanks in advance.
