Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22
Manual suspend works, but not the automatic one. I get a desktop notification saying “Sleep problem”. I did not experience this problem with Ubuntu 7.04. Also, it seems that the solution should be a very simple one, because manual suspend and resume DO work. Isn't automatic suspend just a timer that fires off the same script that works when the suspend button is pressed? Obviously not. I have previously reported another bug, present in both Feisty and Gutsy, which may or may not be related; I provide a link here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux- source-2.6.20/+bug/134619 ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.22 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [gutsy] Automatic suspend broken on Asus P5B-VM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/158061 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
