Public bug reported: Snaps should be able to specify if they require devmode or if they can be run confined. This should be done via a YAML property called "confinement" and it should have two options: "devmode" and "strict." For example:
name: foo version: 1 description: foo summary: foo confinement: devmode If one tries to install a snap that has `devmode` as its confinement without providing the --devmode flag, snapd should fail the installation with a hint to use --devmode. ** Affects: snapd (Ubuntu) Importance: Wishlist Status: New ** Changed in: snapd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1583645 Title: Add support for confinement property To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/snapd/+bug/1583645/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
