Public bug reported:

The upstream is for GNOME and I use Unity so I am using byzanz command-
line.

There should be a way to finish the recording by pressing CTRL-C or
something similar.

For now the only workaround is to specify a long duration then have a
too-long GIF.

The official README says "A command line tool for testing purposes is
available, too" so forking might be necessary.
