[Bug 160625] Re: package secvpn 2.21 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

2009-02-03 Thread Chris Coulson
This is actually a duplicate of bug 152968, but I'm not going to move
this and all of its duplicates to that bug. Bug 152968 has already been
closed as Won't Fix, and I'm closing this bug too (please see Scott's
response in bug 152968).

Re: [Bug 160625] Re: package secvpn 2.21 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

2008-10-04 Thread Carlitos
I was testing the build and that was the problem. The upgrade fail so
I formatted my drive and did a vanilla upgrade - my previous
attempt failed because I had way too many changes made to the installation
and too many custom files failed to upgrade correctly.

I was expecting a problem and was almost sure I would have to
reinstall - and i had the time to spare

sorry I could not be more helpful

Carlos

I am getting this too, and it is keeping me from trying out the new

2008-09-07 Thread ardlur
secvpn would not install, I then then removed this from installation,
rebooted and ran dpkg --configure -a, it said unknown process -o. I'm a
newbie and was not able to figure out anything.

Please be aware of the following bug report Bug #154730 which has been
raised to remove this obsolete package from ubuntu

It is therefore recommended to install an alternate vpn package
