John: $ cd /usr/lib64/deskbar-applet/modules-2.20-compatible $ sudo wget http://svn.gnome.org/svn/tracker/trunk/python/deskbar-handler/tracker-module.py -O deskbar-tracker.py Configure it in the deskbar settings, done. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/162029 Title: package libdeskbar-tracker 0.6.3-0ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 139 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 162029] Re: package libdeskbar-tracker 0.6.3-0ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 139
I assume that this is still a problem, as the libdeskbar-tracker package is apparently unavailable on the amd64 platform on an up-to-date Jaunty system. Synatpic, aptitude, and apt-get simply report that it doesn't exist, while it installs fine for i386. This seems odd, since it is in Python and shold allegedly be more-or-less platform independant. I'd like to use Tracker with Deskbar. Is there anything I can do to help resolve this? -- package libdeskbar-tracker 0.6.3-0ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 139 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/162029 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
