Public bug reported:

Hello i've been using Windows Application for accesing PBXs via
modem(ProcommPlus &Avaya site administrator). I installed Ubuntu , set
up modem (connexant) drivers and it is working fine when using minicom
or ppp connections. The Windows application is a special terminal type
4410 and i can not find something similar under linux . I installed with
wine and when i run it i always get "serial rx error" . I have
configured in ~/.wine/dosdevices/ " ln -s /dev/ttyS(0,1,2,3,,SHSF0,
dev/modem ) com1,2,3,4, etc " but never managed to make it work .

One colleague tried to make it work under virtual box but he has the
same problem , modem not found by the emulated application .

Please help
