There shouldn't be a problem here. The purpose of saned is to share scanners that are physically attached to the local system, so that remote systems can use them. If the scanner is already accessible over the network, a remote system can connect to it without using saned. As I understand it, this is an upstream design choice. saned doesn't let users select which scanners to share, it just shares any scanners that it can see. I think if network scanners were shared, then 2 saned instances on the same network get into a loop sharing the same scanner(s) recursively.
