Forgot the rest of output from when I exited the program: Qt has caught an exception thrown from an event handler. Throwing exceptions from an event handler is not supported in Qt. I'm having the same problem. Once I could barely se some atoms (extremely dark gray on black). Changed the background color to light gray, but to no avail.
