[Bug 1645591] Re: Driver for Exar USB UART
Is there any way to re-enable the cdc-acm driver for these devices without compiling my own kernel? It looks like the xr-usb-serial driver is (by default) compiled for x86 only but I want to use them on a raspberry pi. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1645591 Title: Driver for Exar USB UART To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hwe-next/+bug/1645591/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

This bug is awaiting verification that the kernel in -proposed solves the problem. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed- yakkety' to 'verification-done-yakkety'. If the problem still exists, change the tag 'verification-needed-yakkety' to 'verification-failed- yakkety'. If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed.
