I just upgraded from hardy to karmic, and the problem continues. It's the same with either the `scribus' (1.3.3) or the `scribus-ng' (1.3.5) version. I also tried to remove my ~/.scribus config file (directory), that didn't help either. Only black!!! This sucks, as scribus used to be the best program to print from (only one where you can actually trust that it will print out in the correct size). Sorry, I have stopped completely using Scribus quite a long time ago because of this and many other (usability) problems, and at my new home I don't have a printer, so I can't test.
