Hi Jérôme, thanks for the bug report. The apt-daily.timer starts the
apt-daily.service, which is still running at the end of your plot. That
doesn't necessarily mean it's doing the right thing but at least it has
an opportunity to handle many of the daily tasks.

We may need to tune the rules that fire the timer to make it more likely
for updates to be installed in a timely fashion.

At least with 16.04 LTS and newer, daily updates are enabled by default.
So this already is a welcome change from previous releases when users
had to opt in to daily updates manually.
