Public bug reported:

Using the wifi toggle switch in Gnome Shell->Settings->Network on a wifi
adaptor, when more than one is present, turns off all wifi adaptors. The
toggle switch is visible per adaptor and gives the impression that you
can selectively turn off an adaptor which doesn't seem to be the case.
