You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu and Firefox since that time. Do you still see a problem related to the one that you reported when using a currently supported version of Firefox? It seems that problem is caused by LEGACY addons. It seems that I have the same bug. If I start `firefox` from terminal I get only two lines of text: ATTENTION: default value of option force_s3tc_enable overridden by environment. ATTENTION: default value of option force_s3tc_enable overridden by environment. Firefox opens its windows, but it has only decorated window bar and its contents is not shown.
