In Ubuntu 17.10 (daily build), install gnome-tweak-tool. Go to extensions tab. Click on any of the 2 extensions. It opens up Software Center... Try to switch on/off. Nothing happens. Install an extension, for example Open Weather. Try on/off for in extensions tab of Gnome Tweak Tool. Nothing happens. Click on the setting of the extension (the "wheel"). A new window pops up. From there, you can access extensions settings.
