[Bug 173217] Re: gnome-obex-server functionality should be integrated in Bluetooth applet

2008-01-15 Thread mlind
Does the applet in Hardy (current development version) contain the
required gnome-obex-server functionality? It currently has at least some
sort of obex features via gnome-vfs-obexftp.

** Changed in: bluez-gnome (Ubuntu)
Sourcepackagename: bluez-utils = bluez-gnome
   Status: New = Incomplete

[Bug 173217] Re: gnome-obex-server functionality should be integrated in Bluetooth applet

2008-01-15 Thread Onkar Shinde
Jonathan,

gnome-vfs-obexftp doesn't provide a 'Send To ..' menu item. But it
provides ability to browse obex devices through nautilus, similar to
ftp/smb/nfs shares. And I think this is better user experience.

Try it yourself. Install gnome-vfs-obexftp, relogin, and type obex:// in
nautilus address bar.
