[Bug 173217] Re: gnome-obex-server functionality should be integrated in Bluetooth applet
Does the applet in Hardy (current development version) contain the required gnome-obex-server functionality? It currently has at least some sort of obex features via gnome-vfs-obexftp. ** Changed in: bluez-gnome (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: bluez-utils = bluez-gnome Status: New = Incomplete -- gnome-obex-server functionality should be integrated in Bluetooth applet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173217 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 173217] Re: gnome-obex-server functionality should be integrated in Bluetooth applet
Jonathan, gnome-vfs-obexftp doesn't provide a 'Send To ..' menu item. But it provides ability to browse obex devices through nautilus, similar to ftp/smb/nfs shares. And I think this is better user experience. Try it yourself. Install gnome-vfs-obexftp, relogin, and type obex:// in nautilus address bar. -- gnome-obex-server functionality should be integrated in Bluetooth applet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173217 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
