Public bug reported: On previous ubuntu versions, every launch of a terminator instance creates a new process. 17.10 appears to not do so. As a result, if I attempt to "group"the internal terminals within a terminator window, it instead groups every instance of every terminator window that has been opened. This not only makes the grouping functionality in terminator completely useless, it is extremely hazardous as users will be unknowingly typing commands in other unintended terminals.
