The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. The same problem in Lithuanian version. Sorting by subject by Lithuanian alphabet isn't correct. I have the exact same problem. Ubuntu: 7.10 Gnome: 2.20.1 Evolution: 2.12.1 As a further data point: I didn't notice that behaviour before I upgraded to Gutsy. This upgrade took place just a few weeks ago, and I believe it was ever since then that I noticed Evolution's failure to sort by subject correctly.
