Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem? Just booting up after trying to hibernate doing a: sudo apt install pm-utils && sudo pm-hibernate Hibernation did not work, I just booted as normal. My system uses LUKS encryption & LVM.
